FOLKTALE WEEK

A week each November when illustrators from around the world respond to a series of prompts. As it sounds - it’s a week of celebrating folk-ish themes; mysterious, strange, earthy and maybe a little uncanny. 2023’s prompts were as follows: ‘Lost’; ‘Ink’; ‘Sea’ ‘Sleep’, ‘Illusion’ ‘Underground’ and ‘Found’.

I decided to make a tiny Worry Doll the focus of my pictorial folk tale.
